TEMPORARY POSTING OF ASSISTANT ENGINEERS TO KERALA L.S.G.D.(ENGINEERING WING) through EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE

With reference to the G.O. No. 3181/12/L.S.G.D dt.19.11.2012 of L.S.G.D.(E.W.), Thiruvananthapuram, it is proposed to appoint Assistant Engineers on temporary basis till the posting of Assistant Engineers from the P.S.C. rank list. A huge rank list for the appointment of Assistant Engineers to L.S.G.D.(Engineering Wing)is available and pending for appointment.But their chances are delayed due to the appointment of Assistant Engineers through Employment Exchange.It may be due to the delay in reporting of vacancies or keeping certain buffer posts.
On the other side Kerala P.W.D is posting excess Assistant Engineers to their cadre and they are sitting ideal for the past four months.Because of lack of Vacancies, they are posted Chief Engineers DRIQ board where they have no work. In P.W.D. the situation is in a such a way that the Chief Engineer will report a vacancy to psc when an existing Assistant Engineer is out of seat for more than half an hour and posting will be carried out in an expressway speed.They may arrange some additional chair to accommodate the newly recruited Assistant Engineer without any post.

Rank holders of Assistant Engineers of L.S.G.D(Engineering Wing) is delayed/denied their chances, but in P.W.D recruitment mania is active for their rank holders(Assistant Engineers) , but without any posts.
Lot of vacancies are available for Assistant Engineers in L.S.G.D.(Engineering Wing) with the promotion of Assistant Engineers to Assistant Executive Engineers, creation of new posts.
Supernumerary posting in Kerala PWD is in full swing and may be out of order(may be without assessing the actual number of retirements). But in L.S.G.D(Engineering Wing), there may not be any supernumerary posting and posting against the existing vacancies is slow or idle.

KERALA PSC INVITES APPLICATION FOR THIRD GRADE OVERSEERS IN PWD/IRRIGATION, BUT NOT IN LSGD(ENGINEERING WING)

Kerala psc invites application for the post of third grade overseers in PWD/Irrigation Departments.But this application is not covering the vacancies of LSGD(ENGINEERING WING). As per the Circular No.E6/6400/12/CE/LSGD Dated 14.06.2012 of the Chief Engineer(LSGD), directions were issued to the Executive Engineers to recruit third grade overseers through Employment exchange on a temporary basis as KPSC has provided non availability certificate for the post of third grade overseers
