Kerala PWD Invites option from Ministerial staff for deployment to lsgd on a Temporary basis

Kerala Public Works Department Invited option from ministerial staff for deployment to Local Self Government Department on a temporary basis such a condition that they were reverted if new candidates joining in lsgd or they were promoted or they completed three years in LSGD.Their lean will be public works department.Interested ministerial staff who are willing to work in Kerala lsgd on the temporary basis need to submit their option to Chief Engineer(Administration) before 29.01.2014 5PM through proper channel.As part of Decentralization of Powers Kerala Public Works Department Deployed 564(Administrative assistant-1 Divisional Accountant-14 Junior Superintendent-18 Clerk-324 Typist-105 Peon-102) Ministerial Staff to LSGD on Permanent basis. The 15 Junior Superintendents are exempted from deployment. 53 Staffs approached Hon: Administrative Tribunal and the Hon: Administrative Tribunal has issued orders for keeping this 53 staff in the PWD under the benefit of rule 7 of the KS&SSR.Kerala LSGD has issued orders for reverting the temporary ministerial staff to their parent department.On other side Kerala Irrigation department has not taken any steps to deploy ministerial staff to LSGD and they stopped the deployment of Engineering Staffs to LSGD.Kerala PSC started to send advices to the candidates from L.D Clerk/LGS Rank Lists.Kerala PWD Officials says that there is excess staff in their department, then why they go for new recruitment’s.If they appoint such staff in the department they will also become excess.They will create an artificial cut off date for deployment and deploy people who are not joined in the department&LWA.In PWD they deployed only Assistant Engineers,Overseers and Ministerial Staff except Junior Superintends but not to Assistant Executive Engineers,Executive Engineers,Superintending Engineers.Earlier one Chief Engineer deployed to lsgd and he reverted back to pwd.In Irrigation Department they deployed vacant posts to LSGD.It shows that this is the death bell of deployment of ministerial staff from Kerala PWD/Irrigation to LSGD Engineering Wing.
